sorry i have not been on here for a while. but i have still thought about you every day. i thought i would write something today out of respect for you and mum. i have found in life that we dont always tell those we love, that we are gratefull for what they have done for us. and for what they have given us. but i am gratefull for the day you met mum. and they day you got married. because without that neither michael or i would be here. we all think about you everyday. and wish you were with us.you were the greatest man i have ever known. look after mum as she needs you to be with her today. i love you dad and miss you dearly x
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
good morning mr forrester, just wanted to come and wish you a happy 40th wedding anniversary... Be around mum today as she reflects on one of the happiest days of her life. I know you will be with her as you always are. Last night we should have been celebrating at the big party that michael & me had planned to give you both but never got the chance....can you imagine, it would have been amazing!!!
If there was anything we could give just to have you back, even just for today then i would give my world away...& much much more. Although i cant give you my congratulations face to face today i know you can here me as i whisper them to you.
So happy ruby anniversary to both you & mum, & thank you for being who you are....a great great husband, dad, father in law, brother, grandad & friend. god bless you Mr F......we'll see you in our dreams xxx
hiya dad, sorry i havent been on for a wee while, couldnt get on to the site, that doesnt mean i havent thought about you every minute of every day.....im enjoy our wee chats every day as im walking to the train station, giving you a daily update of whats been happening. It was hard at christmas without you, I know mum found it very difficult but she coped with great dignity as shes one hell of a lady (as you know)!!!....
whats all this snow about, we were up at your garden yesterday & the thickness of the snow was unreal, infact if you were standing in it, it would have been up to your chest lol. Do you like the new fireplace, its lovely isnt it....just what the lounge needed. hope you enjoyed our dance on boxing day (youll know what i mean)!! Off to london on tuesday, hope your coming with us....youll love it.
What else can i tell you...........i'm sure theres loads i could say but i'll keep that for another day, just wanted to tell you we all miss you so much but love you even more, god bless you xxxxxx

its taken me some time to put words together on what kind of person you were? well to many you were george the hard working man, and a great friend, reliable and if they needed something fixed you were there.
and to me and michael you were always there, whenever we needed you! we both loved you so much but found it hard at times to tell you that we did.
i remember all that you taught me about life and cars which was both our great loves! even your love for gardening rubbed of on me and i remember the last few days we had together, we were working in your garden together and talking about what we were going to do with it.
and finally to mum. you were her best fiend as well as her husband. she is finding it hard without you! as we all are! but she is being strong under these times. but to her you were her life and rock. to your grandchildren, they will miss you.
i remember them all sat on your knee. as you played with all four of them. we will all miss you, and will never forget you or what you gave us and did for us.
you will always be remembered in our hearts and our prayers.

Hi dad, were not long back from the cemetery sorting all your flowers...there still looking good. I bet you were watching us taking all the withered ones away & replacing them. We must have looked a right mess doing that in the pouring rain....i can just hear you saying "look at those bloody idiots in the rain, your gona catch a cold"!!! Hope your ok. talk to you later.xxx
